PPWM leaves for valley to distribute 'relief material'

Rajouri, Sept 19: Members of Pir Panjal Welfare Mission (PPWM) headed by Prof Mohd Saleem Wani left for Srinagar along with material collected for the help of needy people. Leader of team Saleem Wani said that by visiting door to door for the collection of cash and material the volunteers collected the relief material to support those who are homeless and hapless.Shafqat Mir Member Secretary of the Mission while talking to the media told that relief amounting to Rs 8 lakh has been generated which comprises Rs 6.7 lakh cash and items worth Rs 1.3 lakh. He also thanked all who have extended their help in general and in particular to the students of the Himalayan Education Mission School and Himalayan Degree College Rajouri. He also thanked the HEM Society for their financial support and for providing accommodation for the camp office of this welfare mission. Members of Mission namely Bilal Mir and Rahil, Prof Asif Lone,Pankaj Chandan, Yousaf Bhat, Afaq Ahmed,Vivek Gupta, Adv Ayaz, Sahil Lone have appealed the public, NGO's and various other agencies to come forward to help the people in distress.
