| Bank Manager, Driver dies in road accident | | |
Jammu, May 7—
A Branch Manager of Jammu and Kashmir Citizen Cooperative Bank and his driver were killed and senior manager of the bank was injured in a road accident near Nandni on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, this morning. Official sources, revealed that Ashok Kumar Raval, Manager Citizen Cooperative Bank, Udhampur Branch and his
Driver Baldev Singh son of Lad Singh of RS Pura died on the spot and Subhash Sharma, chief Manage of the bank were injured when the gypsy, they were traveling in, collided with a truck near Nandni this morning.
The bank officials were on their way from Jammu to Udhampur when they met with the accident, this morning, an official spokesman said. He said that Sharma has been shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu, where his condition remained critical. Police said that an over speedy truck JK02V-8678 collided head on with the Gypsy and a maruti car. However, no one was injured in the maruti car. Police has seized the offending vehicle and arrested the driver.
