| Khadi sale begins at Gandhi Bhawan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Gandhi Sewa Sadan, Jammu organized a week long exhibition cum sale of Khadi products at Gandhi Bhawan here today. Joint Director, J&K Information Department, R K Sharma inaugurated the sale. The entire range of Khadi products were put on sale in the exhibition on the rebate of 30 percent. Chairperson, KVIB Jammu, Ved Ghai was also present on the occasion.
Sharma while speaking on the occasion emphasized on the need to use khadi products to preserve our culture and age old formulations. He expressed optimism over the revival of Khadi culture as people have now acknowledged the value of indigenous khadi products. Chairperson KVIB also expressed her concerns over the diminishing popularity of Khadi products in the modern society. She appealed to the media and other concerned agencies to come forward for the revival of Khadi. The entire range of Khadi products were put on display in the exhibition. On its inaugural day itself large number of people visited the bhawan and availed this golden opportunity.
