| Militants snatch rifle from VDC Member | | |

—A group of militants snatched a rifle from one Village Defence Committee (VDC) member in his house and fled from the spot. According to reports last night a group of militants entered in the house of one VDC member namely Som Nath son of Jagat Nath resident of Gundiot, Kandi and snatched away his 303 rifle along with 100 rounds on the gun point and fled from the spot, after the incident the VDC member inform to police and police team rushed to spot and also launched a search operation in the area to nab the militants. Police has also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
