Incharge police post Pallanwala, Naveen Agnrall has been attached to SDPO, Akhnoor office till inquiry is completed in the death of an SPO at the police post.
Incharge police post Gajansoo, Suresh Gotam has been directed to investigate the matter.
Here is mention that a Special Police Officer (SPO) namely Brij Kishore, posted in Police Post (PP) Pallanwala, had died mysteriously inside the police Post when he was on duty and later police took the body to hospital for postmortem.
After the incident a large number of local people along with family members of victims protested in this regard and demanded an enquiry in this matter.
Annoyed over the death, villagers including relatives of SPO Brij Kishore had blocked the main road at Khour putting traffic to halt yesterday.
The police had claimed that the SPO had died after falling from the roof-top of the police post, where he was sleeping in the night. The relatives of the deceased, however, allege that the SPO had been murdered.
Sources said after verifying the matter the senior officers today attached police post incharge to SDPO Office.
