| ICC wins in Bodh Raj Bali cricket tourney | | | JAMMU | May 7: International Cricket Club (ICC) won by huge margin of 137 runs against Delhi Public School (DPS) of the ongoing 4th Bodh Raj Bali Memorial cricket tournament being played at GGM Science College ground here today. DPS won the toss and decided to bowl first. ICC players strike hard and set a huge target of 194 runs to win against their opponents. Vinay Gupta and Pawan both played the innings of 40 runs in quick succession. Pawan smashed four splendid sixes and two four in 40 runs inning. Vinay struck four boundaries and two sixes. Goldy and Vinay (Jr) contributed 37 and 14 runs. ICC made 193 for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 25 overs game. 31 extras also contributed in the total. For DPS, UDay, Numan and Paras clinched two wickets each whereas Adarsh and Farooq claimed one wicket each. DPS only managed 56 runs for the loss of seven while chasing the target. Only two players reached the double figure. For DPS none of the player tried to hit the ball so that target can be achieved. Abihshake and Numan both remained not out at 12 runs. Gourav and Vinay clinched three and two wickets for the winning team. Goldy took one wicket. Goldly was declared man of the match. Satish Gupta, MD Surya Milk was the chief guest in the match. Other prominent present on the occasion were Rattan Lalm Shyam Mehra, Pardeep Bali, Rahul Balim Vinod Bhalla, Bimla Luthra and Sushma Sawhney.
