| Bar visits affected areas | | | Jammu, Sept 20: The members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu visited the flood affected school and other affected areas of Phallaian Mandal including village Sure Chak.
The President, M.K. Bhardwaj with other member distributed school bags, study material to the students and handed over hundred school bags to the head master of the Govt. High school Sure Chak and requested the District Administration to ensure the school becomes functional at the earliest so that the educations of the children don't get affected.
The members of the association also visited the damage houses which are damaged due to the flash floods and heavy rain fall in the state and information was also collected regarding the grievances and sufferings of the people who are affected by the calamity.
Among others who have visited the flood affected areas along with the President were office bearers of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu including Sindhu Sharma (Vice President), Ranjit S. Jamwal (Gen. Secretary) Prem N Sadotra (Joint Secretary) S. Gurveer Singh (Treasurer), (YLA) members Diljit Singh Manhas (President), Pardeep Majotra (Vice President) and Surinder Kour (Sr. Advocate), H.C. Jalmeria and other members. |
