| Nanda Sports Club shines in Taekwando Championship | | |
JAMMU | May 7:
Nanda Sports Club won twelve medals in 6th District Jammu Taekwando Championship concluded here at Indoor Complex , MA Stadium. The Championship was organized by the Taekwando Association of J&K.
About 150 students from the districts were participated and mostly associated with the Nanda Sports Club. In the prize distribution, Sunny Nanda was awarded with the best team coach trophy. Those who brought laurels for the club were:
Gold Medalist: Arjun Sharma, Reema Sharma, Amrit Raj, Arjun Kalia, Sakshi Aggarwal and Parth Sharma.
Silver Medalist: Krishna Sharma and Amrit Raj.
Bronze Medalist: Ankita Sharma, Anmol Sharma, Prajwal Sharma, Abhay Charak.
All the medal winners were trained by Sunny Nanda and selected for the state championship. In the prize distribution ceremony, Raman Bhalla, MLA was the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the medal winners.
