H-2-H talks another step to enhance ongoing peace initiatives: Mankotia

Jammu May 8—Balwant Singh Mankotia today acclaimed that Heart-2-Heart talks had been a successful initiative endeavouring for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Mankotia however stressed that JKNPP has right from the inception has voiced for the reorganization of the state while others sloganeering like Self Rule and Autonomy were rejected by the people.
Addressing the media persons, MLA of the JKNPP from Udhampur said, “the Heart-2-Heart talks stage set by the JKNPP only has come up with a new road map for peace as the proponents of bloodshed has agreed to give a clarion call to end the ongoing bloodshed and era of uncertainty in the state.
Referring to the remarks from veteran politician from PoK –the former Prime Minister of PoK Sardar Abdul Qayoom Khan ruled out the ‘Concept of Independence’ for Kashmir, Mankotia, said, “ this has virtually made the changed situation visible to all and it positive change for strengthening the peace initiatives.’ He added from the platform of Heart-2-Heart Talks organized by JKNPP at New Delhi, former Prime Minister PoK has urged the gun wielded youths to shun the path of the violence. However he mentioned that though some fundamentalist forces in India and across the other side are hell bent upon disturbing the peace and harmony in India fearing that the restoration of peace and normalcy would end their politics of hatred. Without naming any particular individual, Mankotia said that thus such forces and their sympathizers are criticizing the outcome of H-2-H Talks and are spreading the canards among the masses. Concluding the press conference, JKNPP with fullest appreciations to his party and party leadership for setting stage for accommodating the voices from various sections of society.
