MENDHAR, Sept 21: General Secretary of youth wing of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) Nadeem Ahmed, today lambasted PMGSY authorities for careless attitude of its officials and contractors in completion of roads and bridges of Mendhar constituency.
In a press note issued here today, Nadeem said that the earth works of roads were done by the contractors but after that they left the works in worst condition.
He along with Haji Ayoom, Dr Aslam, Haji Latief, Zafeer, Mahmood, Afaq Khan, Wazir Khan, Sharief Khan and others visited the bridge. Nadeem said that similarly a bridge connecting three panchayats and a population of more than 20 thousand are suffering because the cement work of the bridge is still not completed.
The bridge under PMGSY starts Higher Secondary School Harni to Naka Nar Road and contractors are not serious in completing this road which requires 20 pipes and small pullies for completion. The residents of said panchayats criticized the government and administration for this step motherly attitude towards them and demanded earlier completion of this road and bridge or face agitation. |
