| Man found dead, SPO shot himself | | |

A person found dead under mysterious circumstances at Sanyal in Hiranagar area while a SPO shot himself with his service weapon in his residence at Kathua this afternoon.
According to police, a person namely Krishan Singh, son of Romal Singh of Chalarian in Hiranagar area was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Police has taken the cognizance and initiated proceedings under section 174 Cr PC. Meanwhile, a SPO namely Anchal Singh, son of Devia of Roulka, Kathua fired upon himself in the field near by his house with the service rifle .303 issued to him in the capacity of a VDC member. On the receipt of information, a police party from PS Bani rushed to the spot and hospitalized him.
