| Aged Kashmir lady murdered in Jammu outskirts | | | Jammu, May 8 A sixty year old Kashmiri Pandit lady was found murdered inside her house in Paloura area, on the outskirts of Jammu city late last night. Police said that body of Phulla Bhan, widow of ML Bhan was found inside the bathroom of the house, where it was lying in a poll of blood. Police is suspecting the hand of painters, who were reportedly working in the house, till Monday. Giving details of the incident, a senior police officer told that some neighbourers noticed the body of Mrs. Bhan lying in the Bathroom at her residence at Pandoka colony and informed the police. A team of Paloura police station rushed to the spot and sealed the house, he said. Though initially it was believed that the woman might have died due to accident but the preliminary investigation soon raises fingers towards the possibility of murder. The body of the woman was shifted to Government Medical college hospital Jammu for postmortem and a team of scientific experts was deputed to the spot to collect the evidence, sources added. It was reliably learnt that widow of an excise inspector, Mrs Bhan was living alone in the house as the lone daughter of the deceased was already married. "We are looking for the painters, who were working in the house but did not turned up after Monday', sources said adding, "A man hunt has been launched for their arrest and further investigation can proceed only after the receipt of postmortem report.
