| BGSBU claims cent percent placement | | | Jammu | May 9
Adding another feather to its cap the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri achieved cent percent placement for its first batch of MBA students.
This will be the first batch passing out after the commencement of academic session of University on August 29. The students have been placed both in multinational companies and national companies like DELL, NIIT SMART SERVICES, EXL SERVICES, IBM, AIRTEL, HUTCH, SPICE, HDFC & ICICI. with handsome pay packages. This is not a mean achievement for the University which is situated in a far flung area of the state. It is pertinent to mention here that the placement has been completed even before the completion of the courses and students will start working as soon as they will leave the University. The confidence shown by the various multinational and National Companies in the product of BGSBU says it all about the quality of education and training that is being delivered at the campus.
This news has sent a wave of jubilation among the people of Rajouri and Poonch for whom this university was an actualization of a dream. And to celebrate the occasion all the senior officials including DIG Rajouri-Poonch range and people in general will be honouring the meritorious students and staff of the University tomorrow at Rajouri.
Vice chancellor Masud Choudhary on achieving the cent percent placement said that it’s in tune with the vision of the university which has based itself as a technical residential University with an aim to create professionals who can pave their way in this competitive world. He further added that this is the real beginning point for the University and from here now we have to maintain the pace and move upwards.
