| Man shot dead, another losses life in group clash | | | Srinagar May 09 Unidentified armed men shot dead a youth in Sopore area of North Kashmir of, while another person lost his life during a group clash between the members of two families in a village of South Kashmir's hill district of Shopian. Police sources told News Agency of Kashmir that some unidentified armed persons barged inside the house of one Fayaz Ahmad Dar 30, son of Sonaullah Dar, at Hardushiva on the outskirts of Sopore township. The Gunmen fired at the victim from a close range injuring him critically . The injured was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation. (NAK) Meanwhile, one person was killed and his two brothers were critically injured following a group clash between the members of two families in a village of South Kashmir hill district of Shopian. A police spokesman said that members of two families of Ghulam Hassan Bhat and Abdul Aziz Bhat residents of Tachloo Shopian indulged in a clash over a property dispute resulting in injuries to three persons. The injured were rushed to SDH Shopian for treatment where from critically injured one Fayaz Ahmad Bhat 30, farmer by profession was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for specialized treatment. However, he succumbed to injuries on way to hospital. Others who were injured in the clash have been identified as Ghulam Rasool Bhat, and Nisar Ahmad Bhat both sons of Ghulam Hassan Bhat. Acting swiftly a Party from Police Station Shopian rushed to the spot and arrested three accused persons namely Zahid Irfan, Rahul Amin and Hujatul Islam, sons of Abdul Aziz Bhat. However, two accused are still at large. A Case FIR No. 67/07 U/S 302, 407, 148, 149, 447 RPC was registered in Police Station Shopian.
