| Sikh organisations flay state, centre govt attitude | | | Jammu | May 9 An urgent meeting of various Sikh organisations was held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, Chief Organiser, Bhai Kanaiya Nishkam Sewa Society. The participants in the meeting expressed their dissatisfaction over the attitude of the state and central governments towards the PoK refugees of 1947. The participants said that no representative of refugees of POK 1947 has been included in the round table conference and no invitation has been sent to their representatives on all party meeting which is going to be held on 12th May, at Srinagar. The refugees of Chhamb and West Pakistanis are formerly invited. They strongly condemned the Govt. of their ignorance deliberately to POK refugees. The 12 Lakh refugees which are in the largest number from the refugee categories are being ignored deliberately since 60 years and not even single demand of them has been fulfilled. The participants said if the issue of refugees is not settled soon, the refugees shall convene a convention and appeal to the refugee voters to boycott all the parties. Others who participated in the meeting were S. Narbir Singh, President, Shiromani Youth Akali Dal, S. Paramjit Singh President AISSF, S. Balbir Singh Bedi, General Secretary, State Akali Dal, Kultar Singh, Gajjan Sikh Simbal Camp, Kanchan Singh Chatha and Kulwant Singh, Chief Advisor Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Jammu.
