| Mehbooba to visit Banihal, Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

In a public meeting of PDP workers, held at Banihal under the chairmanship of PDP General Secertary, Jammu province , Romesh Mottan, in addition to raising of many demands, it was disclosed that PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti was going
to conduct a four day tour of Banihal constituency and Jammu. This was stated here in aprèss release issued by the the Party.
The meeting was attended by zonal leaders, of the zone, viz. Mohd. Ashraf, G.M. Mir, Ab. Hamid Khan, G.M. Shakir etc. in addition to Ab. Hamid Wani, zonal president Banihal.
The meeting demanded Opening of Degree College and Industrial Training Institute (I T I),at Banihal, opening of high school and elevation of P.H.C to Sub- District- Health Centre at Phappar the release added.
The leaders thanked Mufti Mohd. Syed for construction of Approach Road from Khari to Mahi Mangat, gratitude was also expressed to Trilok Singh Bajwa (MP) and Shanti Devi
for sanction of ambulance to Banihal and to Qazi Mohd Afzal for augmenting drinking water facilities to Banihal the release said declaring 18/08 as date of commencement of Mehbooba’s tour.
In a separate meeting elaborate arrangements were finalized for holding a convention at Jammu.
The others who attended the mee were Shanti Devi, Renu Azad, Ashok Jogi, Chaman Angral, Jammu West president R.K.Bali Raj Kumar, Manjeet singh, Anshuman Davinder
Singh, Sunita Bangotra etc.
