| BJYM organizes protest demonstration | | |

District Akhnoor unit of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by its Distt. President Rajinder Singh Chib, organized a protest dharna against government’s discriminatory attitude towards youth of Jammu and Ladakh in CRPF recruitment. The morcha activists raised anti UPA slogans and demanded equal treatment to the youth in all the three regions of the state.
BJP activists said that the people of Jammu and Ladakh have been discriminated since 1947 in all matters and the recent decision of the UPA government at the centre to start CRPF recruitment drive for the youth of Valley only should leave no one in any doubt that the central government has no concern for the youth of Jammu and Ladakh. He reminded the UPA government that the rate of unemployment in Jammu regions is going up.
BJYM State President Pawan Khajuria expressed grave concern over the step motherly treatment being meted to the youth of Jammu and Ladakh regions.
He said the need of the hour is to formulate a clear cut recruitment policy for adjustment of all the educated youth of all the three regions of the state without any further discrimination. He, on this occasion, declared that the BJYM activists would not allow the UPA government to humiliate the youth of Jammu and Ladakh and that morcha will further its agitation if the discriminatory decisions is not withdrawn.
