For effective counter terrorist operations and curtailing any
untoward incidents against the civilians as well as security forces, District Magistrate, Udhampur, Mr.
O.P. Kalandria in exercise of powers vested to him under section 144-Cr. P.C. has imposed night
curfew in some areas of Reasi and Mahore Sub Divisions of district Udhampur with immediate effect.
According to an order of the District Magistrate, the night curfew would remain in force
from 2200 hours to 0500 hours in the areas of Audan, Chakalsalta, Old Lambi Bari, Hansawali Gali,
Thakrakote, Thanpal, Panasa and Chinkah falling under jurisdiction of Reasi and Mahore Sub Divisions.
The order shall remain in force for a period of two months from the date of issue of this order.
