| Two HM militants arrested | | |

Security forces today claimed to have arrested two militants during a search operation conducted following yesterdays encounter at Dard Hari in North Kashmir border district Kupwara .
Five militants were killed in two separate encounters at Sangran pati and Dard Hari on Wednesday.
Sources told that the Police and Army conducted extensive searches in the area and apprehended two more militants, who had reportedly escaped from the spot.
According to the SSP Kupwara Vijay Kumar two militants Bilal Ahmad Mir son of Ali Mohammed resident of Nizampora Kangan Ganderbal and Abdul Majid Wani son of Ghulam Mohammed resident of Reshigund were arrested from the area.
The latter was also a guide of the militants, SSP said adding that search is still in progress in the adjoining villages.
Bilal who had escaped from the encounter site reportedly surrendered before 14 Grenadiers. He handed over one AK rifles, ammunition and other stores to Army Jawans.
