| Charges framed against Patwari, 2 others in forgery | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3:Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Rakesh Sagar Jain has framed charges against Mohd Iqbal then Patwari Halqa Sunjwan, Mubarak Ali and Swar Ali 420/467/468/471/120-B R.P.C. According to the case in the year 1999 at Jammu accused Mubarak Ali, Sawar Ali and Mohd Iqbal the Patwari Halqa Sunjwan entered into a criminal conspiracy and in pursuance of the criminal conspiracy with an intention to cheat the complainant Abdul Rashid Wani and his daughter Aisha, accused Mohd Iqbal who was having custody of the revenue record forged the register Girdawari whereby made fictitious entry in the name of accused Mubarak Ali and yourself in 1999 in respect of land measuring 2 kanals in survey No.1 min situated at village Sunjwan, tehsil Jammu. Hence you along with other accused persons in furtherance of the criminal conspiracy forged the revenue record knowing the same to be forged and intending that the same shall be used for purpose of cheating and thereby committed offence u/s 420/467/468/471/120-B R.P.C and within the cognizance of this Court. Principal Sessions Judge Jammu RS Jain observed that looking to the allegations levelled in the challan, it is apparent that prima facie case is not made out against accused Haji Sultan, Sadiq Ali, Abdul Khaliq, Sham Din and Akhtar Ali and in so far as other accused Mubarak Ali, Swar Ali and Mohd Iqbal are concerned, prima facie case is made out against these accused that they hatched a criminal conspiracy and in furtherance of the criminal conspiracy, accused MohdIqbal forged the register girdawari and made fictitious entry in the name of accused Swar Ali and Mubarak Ali in 1999 in respect of land measuring 2 kanals in survey No.1 min situated at village Sunjwan, tehsil Jammu in the said revenue record and accordingly said accused are charged for offence u/s 120B/420/467/468/471 RPC. |
