Katra, Oct 3: Shat Chandi Maha Yagya organised by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board during the auspicious occasion of Navratras at the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji for peace and prosperity concluded here today with Purna Ahuti on the holy Mahanavami the last Navratra. Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Ranjeet Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhawan, Devinder Bhau, Dy CEO, Rajan Gupta, Executive Engineer, other officers of the Shrine Board and a large number of pilgrims participated in this religious ritual performed amidst Vedic Mantras on the occasion. Meanwhile Bhawan of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji, Atka and the area surrounding were decorated with flowers during Navratras. At the same time Shrine Board had made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims who visited the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji during Navratras which include ensuring sufficient water and uninterrupted power supply along the Track leading to the Shrine, sanitation, availability of special "fast related" food at the Bhojanalayas of the Shrine Board, etc. During his visit to holy shrine CEO accompanied by officers and engineers of the Shrine Board also took stock of the ongoing development works in the Bhawan area undertaken by the Shrine Board and stressed on timely completion of the ongoing projects viz construction of Queue Complex at Adhkwari, upcoming Colony at Himkoti and retiling of Alternate Track from Adhkwari to Bhawan. |
