Doda, Oct 3: To create awareness among the people living in far flung and hilly area particularly student community about the importance of forests, a programme was organized under National Environment Awareness Compaign on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation" at Govt.UPS Posta zone Gundna. According to press release, Bodh Raj Sarpanch, PH Posta was the Chief guest while Satish Kumar Zonal Co.NEAC Zone Ghat and Mohd Abdullah Tak Chairman was the guest of honour.
Anil Kumar Headmaster, Mukhtyar Ahmed ReT present on the occasion. Satish Kumar Co NEAC delivered lecture on paryavaran mitra programme.
He impressed upon the people of the region to conserve forests for maintaining ecological balance and green cover of the area.He asked the people to conserve the rich flora and fauna of the area and plant more and more trees. |
