Kathua, Oct 3: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Inter House activities were organized in the premises of Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School Kathua.
On the occassion Dr. Bharat Bhushan (KAS), Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the Chief Guest and Retd. Prof. Dr. Ram Murti Sharma presided over the function. Tributes were paid to Mahatma Gandhi by offering flower to his portrait. Students pledged to take part in Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidhalya Abhiyan and keep their homes, school and surroundings neat and clean and will inspire the society to do the same.
Students of different houses recited poems related to Mahatma Gandhi. After that an inter-house quiz competition was organized.
Four teams of Marvellous Minds, Mystical Nimbles, The Intellectualists and Brain Toddlers took part in this competition enthusiastically.
1st position was secured by Brain Toddlers, 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Intelleectualists and Mystical Nimbles respectively.
The winner teams were awarded prizes by the Chief Guest. |
