| Jagrata disruption, locals stage protest | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3: Following heated arguments between the two sides over the venue of 'Jagrata' at Bakshi Nagar near Geeta Mandir last night, locals in the morning staged protest and blocked the road at Bakshi Nagar.
According to sources, last night a medico presently posted at Govt Gandhinagar Hospital had some arguments with the organizers of event and the jagrata team over 'Jagrata' following which police had to intervene and pacify the two sides. Although the things got smothered last night but the locals today staged protest against the said medico.
Locals during the protest alleged that she not only abused the organizers for hosting the occasion but also disturbed the jagrata (devotional evening) a popular activity being held during the Navratra festivity, following which they lodged a formal complaint at Police Station Bakshi Nagar. |
