| Manohar listens people grievances at Billawar | | |
KATHUA, MAY 11
MLA Billawar Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma convened a meeting of local administration at Billawar, Kathua which was among others attended by SDM Billawar Mr. R.K. Razdan, Tehsildar Mr. Puran Chand Sharma, sub-divisional level engineers of all the departments, other tehsil level officers besides large number of people.
A number of deputations from Seri Moni, Pallan, Parnala, Koti, Kishan Pur etc met the MLA and apprised him about their problems pertaining to power supply, water supply, flood control and roads. Mr. Sharma directed the tehsil officers to look into the problems of the people for an immediate redressal.
He expressed deep concern over the massive mortality of silk worms in Billawar area and demanded immediate relief for the silk worm rearers and also demanded that team of experts be deputed to study the cause behind the destruction of silk worms.
