| Emergency hospitals on national highway coming up soon: Hussain | | |
Srinagar, May 11
Minister of State for Health and Power Peer Mohammad Hussain has said that under construction emergency hospitals on national highway at Qazi Gund, Banihal and Ramban would be completed soon. He said adequate medicinal staff with modern diagnostic facilities would be made available in these health institutions for better health management of the injured. He was inspecting hospitals enroute Kishtwar today.
The Minister said that government has made mandatory for doctors selected on the basis of RBA, SC and ST categories to render four years service in their respective areas. This he said would ensure better medicare facilities to the people living in remote and far off areas.
At Banihal, the Minister said that the emergency hospital is being brought under the ambit of National Rural Health Mission where under separate orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology and other disciplines would be opened and latest diagnostic infrastructure created are providing sophisticated and quality health care to the deserving.
