| Tantray asks separatist stop advocacy of separtism | | |

A function was held at Rajpur, Mandi (Poonch) by the Peace Protection Forum, Poonch in which about two thousand people took Part and appreciated the efforts of Forum which is working for the upliftment of the common masses and propagating the cause of communal harmony and patriostism in the district.
Chairman of the Forum S.M. Tantary while speaking on the occasion appealed to the separatist leaders including, Ali Shah Geelani that now the time has come when they should stop the advocacy of separatism and should work for the upliftment of common masses and to remove the social evils from the society. Tantary appealed to the every participant to be Indian first of all and strengthen the Indian Democracy which is internationally accepted and no power on earth can destabilize the country which has multiple colours in its feather. He said during 18 years of militancy we have lost so many valuable human lives and rendered many orphan who do not have any fault.
Tantary while advocating for the development of this hilly area appealed to the government to give due representation to the residents of this area in Secteriat and also accord necessary placement opportunities for the local Officers of this area.
For economic development of this area a special package to give and the minerals available in this area may be extracted so that unskilled workers can be benefited by getting employment opportunities. He said area has great tourism potential and be placed on the tourism map of India. He said at Mandi Tehsil as a whole be brought under RBA Category.
