| People asks to remain away from Ravi river | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Shahpur Kandi has intimated that Flood Sub Control Room Kathua today released the water in Ravi
river from Reservoir of Ranjit Sagar Dam.
The people in general have been asked not to pass through this river and restrain their
live-stock from entering the river in coming days to avert any mishap during sudden flood due to release
of water by Dam authorities. Likewise, the owners of trucks, trolleys and other carriers are advised to
restrict themselves from venturing in to the Ravi river for collecting building material from riverbed. The
XEN said that anybody not following the advice shall do so at his own risk and responsibility.
