| EJAC to hold conference on May 17 at Jajjar Kotli | | |
Jammu | May 11 The executive office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Govt. employees Joint Action committee in a meeting chaired by convenor of the EJAC, Anwar Beg reviewed its programme and policies of the committee in detail. According to press release EJAC has decided to organize a conference on May 17 at Jajjar Kotli to decide parameters of future course of action with regard to pending demands The EJAC has further urged the Chief Minister to implement the commitment, which have been agreed with the EJAC leadership in the last meeting. The minister of Finance has also been agreed with the leadership of the employees in the Chamber that sufficient amount under the provision of Budget and location has been kept to release the D.A., installment. The EJAC has further urged to State Govt. to release 6% DA installments due from Jan 2007 in favour of State Govt. Employees at the earliest including other demands. The EJAC (Jammu) has extended full support to the upcoming protest Dharna of Govt. employees which is being organized under the leadership of Khurshid Alam Convenor EJAC Kashmir on May at Srinagar for conceding the pending demands of the employees. Other senior dignitaries of the organization who attended the meeting were Satish Sharma Prem Paul Singh, Parshotam Singh Chib, Girdhari Lal Chanda, Subash Chander, Pardeep Sharma, Sushil Sudhan, S. Amrik Singh, Rattan Lal, Dharam Paul Katria, Kartar Chand Dubey, Sabtanter Bakshi, Ajay Sharma, Marix Gill, Prem Singh Baba, Avtar Singh, Com. Bachan Lal, Jubraj Bhatti, Anoop Singh, Bharat Kumar, Virender Singh etc.
