| Tarigami demands adequate teaching staff for colleges | | | Srinagar, May 12 CPI (M) State General Secretary and MLA Kulgam Mr. M. Y. Tarigami has urged government to expedite the process of engaging lecturers on contractual basis in colleges so that the student community do not suffer. He said despite lapse of over a month of academic session various colleges especially newly opened ones are still lacking vital teaching staff, he observed. Mr. Tarigami said this while interacting with students during his inspection of Kulgam Degree College today. He took stock of the construction work of the college building and called for its speedy completion. On the occasion he was informed that as many as 2500 students are on roll in various classes of the college, for which there is no adequate teaching staff. Later, the MLA visited Zanana Park and took stock of its construction work.
