| DDC reviews irrigation scenario at Reasi | | |

To provide irrigation facilities in various areas of Reasi and Pouni, the Irrigation and Flood Control department is making all out efforts to boost agriculture and horticulture production through khuls and other modes of irrigation to raise the socio economic conditions of the rural masses.
It was disclosed by the Executive Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control department Reasi in a meeting chaired by the District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Sanjeev Verma.
The Executive Engineer apprised the DDC that work on Batura- Kalmua Khul is in progress and against the allocation of Rs. 103 lakh over Rs. 22 lakh have been spent so far on it.
The DDC asked the Executive Engineer to speed up the work on these irrigation schemes so that on their completion the irrigation facilities are percolated to various areas at the earliest.
