| Dr Karan Singh reveals secret behind dissimilar gown | | |

Delivering the convocation address in Zorawar Singh Auditorium, JU amid the presence of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Governor Lt Gen S K Sinha and entire audience, Dr Karan Singh revealed the secret behind the dissimilar gown wore by him.
Dr Singh was wearing a red colour gown instead of velvet blue gown offered by JU to him while the trio of Vice Chancellor, Pro Chancellor and Chancellor was wearing the velvet ones.
Revealing the secret, he said that this was the gown which he wore while receiving his Doctorate degree from Delhi University. “I insist upon taking my own gown with me whenever I have been called for any convocation because I have worked hard for this gown. Recently, also I wore the same gown in the convocation held at Utkal University” he informed
