| Sadbhavana rally depicting Hindu-Muslim unity taken out | | | KATHUA, MAY, 14 A Sadbhavana rally depicting Hindu and Muslim unity was taken out from Shahidi Chowk Kathua to Aervan under the leadership of M.P Ch. Lal Singh here the other day in which large number of people especially from Gujjar and Bakarwal community participated. Speaking on the occasion, Ch Lal Singh said that in our state people belonging to different religions faiths have always followed the path of communal harmony and brotherhood. He said that a state can prosper only when the people follow the path of mutual tolerance and join a common platform of peace and love for fellow human beings. Highlighting the contribution of Gujjar and Bakarwals in saving the society. Mr Singh said that the community has been involved in the trade of providing milk, meat and wool. Calling upon the local youth to establish their own dairy units, he said that this would enable them to become economically selfsufficient and contribute to the economic development of the state. Mr. Singh said that some vested interested are grabbing the government land which will not be allowed at any cost and those found guilty of such crime will be dealt under law. Mr. Singh said that he has noted all their problems and try to solve them at an earliest. Speaking on the occasion the representatives of Gujjar and Bakarwals said that some vested interest are grabbing the government land through illegal means and bringing bad name to the local people of their community. They said that Kathua is a peaceful area and those elements who are trying to disturb it need to be dealt with sternly. They appealed the people to remain united. Mr Singh assured that people found guilty of grabbing government land would be dealt under law. Mr Singh said that he has noted all their problems and try to solve them at an earliest.
