| Qasba asks horti officers to keep close contact with farmers | | |

To review the progress of implementation of Developmental Schemes in Jammu division, Director Horticulture, M S Qasba took a meeting of all the divisional and district level Officers here today.
According to a press release, Qasba stressed upon plantation to be made well in time during the forth-coming rainy season. He stressed that selection of site, layout and digging should be completed well in time so that rainy season targets are achieved in full. He directed the officers to make selection of villages in time so that all other developmental activities like creation of water resources, production of planting material, establiment of low caste poly green houses, popularization of agricultural tools and implements etc also implemented in time as per plan of action. He impressed upon participating officers to work in their respective jurisdictions more effectively and create a close contact with the farming community and have interaction through awareness camps, and make them aware with different aspects of scientific orcharding.
