Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 24: Accusing the coalition ministers of misusing their official position and powers, the BJP today alleged that the alliance ministers have issued backdoor appointment orders to their party cadres in J&K Bank in Doda and Kishtwar districts.
Talking to reporters BJP senior leaders, Sunil Sharma, Shakti Parihar and Basant Raj Thakur accused the alliance ministers of misusing their official position.
Both Sunil and Parihar said that eyeing the coming Assembly poll the back door appointment orders have been issued in J&K Bank by the coalition ministers which has evoked lot of public resentment.
They demanded a probe into the matter as to why the appointments were made in JK Bank through backdoor without calling the written test and interviews. The BJP leaders also alleged that coalition ministers are distributing solar lights, CGI sheets and water tanks among the people to seek their votes in Assembly elections. These items are being distributed under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) by the ministers, which is the gross violation of the rules.
They said the CDF is meant for development works for common cause and not for distribution of CGI sheets, water tanks and solar lights among people on individual basis.
The duo also displayed some water tanks with a label depicting arranged under CDF. This is a serious issue and the Government should order a thorough probe into the matter. Tasking serious exception to it BJP leaders warned that they will not allow misuse of official position by ministers and in case Government failed to probe and act against the erring ministers it will be forced to take to streets.
Sunil and Parihar said this way the funds meant for the development are being misused by the ministers for their vote bank politics and the same will not be allowed to happen by the BJP. They said being afraid of public wrath the coalition is trying to lure the people during the election time but all plans will fall through as people are totally fed up with its wrong and unpopular policies of both Congress and National Conference (NC).
