| Wani visits Taroon, announces construction of school building | | |

MLA Doda Abdul Majeed Wani, accompanied by District officials visited Taroon, a far flung village in Bhaderwah. The MLA had to foot 6km distance to reach the village.
Addressing a public meeting, Wani called upon the people to become active partners in massive reconstruction and developmental activities going on in the district and alleged that the district which had been neglected in the past in the development sector has received a great fillip after Ghulam Nabi Azad took over as Chief Minister and enumerated the bold and revolutionary steps taken by the Congress led government during the last one and half years
Referring to the Roshni Act, Wani said that decision to enact the amended Act is appreciable and bold step of the CM aiming at to provide ownership rights to the farmers of the government land under their occupation.
Wani also visited Government Higher Secondary School Taroon where he announced construction of three rooms from his personal funds and also directed for leveling the school ground.
