Janta Dal demands more assembly seats for Jammu region

Janta Dal has criticized the proposal in all party meet convened by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Aazad for the 25 pc hike in three regions of the state. Dhan Raj Balgotra State President Janta Dal while addressing the media person said that the propose formula of CM to increase the gap of 12 states against 9 seats is total discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh region.
Bargotra further said that Wazir Commission was constituted to remove the regional imbalance after long struggle by people of Jammu region but the Chief Minister implementing the wazir commission report by killing its spirit. He pointed out that Jammu area and strength of voters was double than the area of Kashmir.
Janta Dal demanded for more assembly seats for Jammu region on basis of voter strength. Bargotra also demanded issue of state subject to West Pakistan refugees settled in J&K State.
The others who present there were Mast Nath Yogi, S. Kulbir Singh, Ram rattan Sharma, S. Tirth Singh, Jitendra Khanna , Parvez Mughal, Makhan Lal Bhat and Haji Abdul Rehman.
