In a general body meeting of Adbi Kunj, a literary organisation, the members elected new executive body under the supervision of SM Tayyab Bharti who acted as an independent observer for the election. The meeting was presided over by K.K. Shakir.
Sham Talib, was elected president, while Nargis Sitara was appointed as Vice-President. The other executive members are Talib Kashmiri as general secretary, Jaswant Singh chief organizer, RK Bharti organizer, Jabbar Bhat publicity secretary Suresh Rahi Secretary and Rajeev Kumar as treasurer. The other members of the Kunj are, Maharaj Krishan, Daya Ram Daye, Singh Surraji.
In the meeting it was decided that eminent Urdu writer, SS Anand Lehar will continue as the patron of Adbi Kunj.
