| Citizens’ forum flays PDD authorities | | |

President, Citizen Forum and PDP leader R.K. Chadha has flayed the PDD authorities for curtailment of power supply daily even to those consumers who have installed electronic tariff meters. He said, Minister incharge PDD and even then finance Minister Muzaffer Hussain Baig had announced on the floor of the assembly that there will be no power cut in respect of those consumers who install electronic meters.
He said, authorities are themselves going slow in installing the electronic meters at all the houses and commercial places, on the ground of paucity of funds and non availability of adequate number of electronic meters.
Chadha also termed the power cut from 8 Pm and to 10 Pm by rotation as highly torturing particularly during the hot summer nights. The people at large take their dinner. He has appealed to the PDP minister to change the timings of power cut in such a way that there is no cut after 8Pm.
