Natrang celebrates foundation day

Natang celebrated its 25th Foundation day with the staging of the play “Sainyan Bhaye Kotwal” at Abhinav Theatre, here today.
In the play a kingdom ‘Surya Nagar’ is shown suffering from corruption, nepotism, and lawlessness. The king is busy in hunting and foreign tours and the functionaries of his government and busy in making the best use of his absence.
The play is a symbolic picture of the contemporary political happenings. A caricature of the bad governance has been beautiful depicted in the play.
The artists who participated in the play included Suresh Kumar as Anil Tickoo, Sanjeev Gupta, Pankaj Sharma, Dimple Sharma, Kamaljeet Kour, Rahit Verma, Mayank Bakshi, Pankush Verma and Rahul Singh, Suraj Singh gave the music whereas Satish Laotra was on rhythem, Sanjay Paashi on Guitar. Parvidner Singh, Bharat Kumar, Chanderlata Kohli, supriya Sharma, Laxmi Sharma and Saurav, Suraj Ganjoo and Jai Ram.
