| Business school organizes MDP for JKP Officers | | | Jammu | May 15, The Business School, University of Jammu (JU) today organized a two day Management Development Programme (MDP) on attitude for excellence for the senior officers of JKP. The MDP aims at enhancing the leadership team skills and is on emphasizing the need of positive thinking for making police officers as effective agents of change. The MDP is being attended by 30 police officers of the rank of DIGs’ SSPs’ ASPs’, SPs’ and DySPs along with the faculty members and research scholars of the business School and the Centre for Hospitality and Tourism Management, JU. IGP Jammu, S P Vaid was the Chief Guest at the inaugural function of the MDP. Prof. Ashok Aima in his address said that the three basic issues of sense of appreciation, sense of gratitude and sense of balance in life and critical aspects of positive attitude are essential for the leaders. During the day long activity, S. Bhattacharya, the resource person for the MDP discussed the various issues related to the positive thinking, systems thinking and the attitude for excellence. Prof. Keshav Sharma, Director, The Business School presented the vote of thanks while Dr. Alka Sharma conducted the proceedings.
