| BDO caught red handed with female subordinate | | |

Police arrested a Block Development Officer (BDO) for allegedly molesting his subordinate in Kokernag area of Anantnag district, on Wednesday.
Sources revealed that the KAS officer was caught with a class IV employee of his department from a garden and was arrested immediately. He has been placed under suspension.
Giving details Station House Officer Kokernag told News Agency of Kashmir, over phone, that after receiving an information a police team raided a garden and arrested the officer alongwith one of his employee (name withheld).
The officer has been booked for molestation charges under FIR No 50/07 at Police Station Kokernag.
However, another version of the news revealed that he was caught red handed with the girl by some local villagers and handed over to the local police.
Meanwhile, sources said that the officer has been placed under suspension for his "shameful act".
