| PNB starts public awareness campaign | | |
Jammu | May 17 Punjab National Bank J&K Zone has started an intensive public awareness campaign in the entire state from today under a year long program known as SPREAD (Structured Program for Retail Lending Enterprise and Agri Business Development). Chief guest Lt. Gen. T K Sapru YSM GOC 16 Corps in his inaugural address appreciated the service available to defence personnel especially army jawans and officers from the bank not only in the state but in all other parts of the country. He also lauded the schemes launched by the banks. Davinder Singh Rana MLC and Managing Director Jamkash Vehicleades Jammu who was special invitee in his address also appreciated the proactive role played by PNB in the economic development of the State. Earlier Vivek Arya Zonal Manager J&K Zone informed that objective of the campaign is to create awareness among the public in general not in Jammu or Kashmir but in the entire state about various financial products and services available from the bank to public. Zonal manager Arya also told that the bank had sold highest number of gold coins in Jammu. He further added that two HUBS are working in both Jammu and Kashmir Region to provide swift loans to the customers. SPREAD series first event was held today at Govt. Women College Parade and was attended by the large gathering of bank officials and defence personal.
