Sadhotra asks Congress to clear its stand on ‘Self-Rule’, ‘Demilitarization’

Congress should clear its stand on much talked about ‘self rule and demilitarization’, said Ajay Sadhotra Provincial President National Conference while addressing a public meeting organized by Arun Verma at Talab Tilloo here.
‘By continuing with PDP, the Congress is adopting double standard’, he said, and added that it is high time that the people of Jammu should ask it (Congress) for its stand viz-a-viz ‘Self Rule’ and ‘Demilitarization’.
‘A wind of change is blowing across the state and the people have realized that the PDP-Congress alliance government has failed on all fronts’, the NC leader said adding that NC is the only party in the state committed for the welfare of the people of all the three regions of the State.
‘Terming PDP-Congress as two sides of the same coin, Sadhotra said that both the parties are moving in different directions and having different programs and policies as a result of which the State is moving in distress direction’. Saying that NC is the only premier political party having its deep roots in all the regions’, Sadhotra claimed that his party has always played constructive role whether in power or out of power.
Chander Mohan Sharma, District President Jammu Urban, who also spoke on the occasion, said that it is unfortunate that no efforts have been made by the concerned departments to provide regular water and electricity supply in Jammu city adding that people are crying hoarse but without any avail.
The Party in a handout claimed that a large number of Shiv Saniks and Congress activists joined NC on the occasion. Those who joined included Naresh Kumar, Santosh Kumar Bhagat, Inderjeet, Gurpreet, Vipan Pal Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Sonu Sharma, Sunnu Don, Vijay Singh, Vinod Kumar, Anil Kumar, Raksh Kumar and Singh Jamwal .
