The residents of Sanik Colony in a meeting framed a Mohalla committee with the aim to look after day to day problems of the colony.
According to a press release, issued by publicity secretary S. Dayal Singh, president of the committee was appointed as president, Mayor Jameet Singh as vice-president, wing commander R N Sharma as general secretary. The other members of the committee are M M Bhalla as secretary, Raj Kumar as finance secretary and Himmat Singh as chief advisor. Beside these five working committee members also which include Rajesh Lalotra, Arun Makhnotra, Jarnail Singh, Capt. G. Singh Bhullar and Sham Sunder Anand
