| Ousted excise, CT employees’ dharna enters 108th day | | |

The on-going dharna of ousted employees of Excise and commercial taxes has entered 108th day today.
Dharna is being simultaneously held at Jammu and Srinagar by the retrenched employees, who are demanding absorption in the department as they have given nine years of regular service to the department, as has been done in the case of ousted employees of Agriculture and education Departments.
As per press release of the association, the families of these employees are facing lot of problems and are not in a position to meet their daily needs, and in some cases parents are facing great hardships even to take care of their children. Today they appealed to the authorities that orders of their regularization be made soon, as promised by Chief Minister and finance minister.
