| Mufti condoles demise of Qudoos | | |
Srinagar, May 18
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has condoled the death of Syed Abdul Qudoos Azad (Narbali) who passed away today at his Narabal residence.
Abdul Qudoos was a veteran politician and former member J&K constituent assembly and one of the architects of J&K Constitution. Sayeed described him as a visionary who always worked for poor and downtrodden throughout his political life. Mufti said the state has lost a true leader of the masses and the void created by his demise will be difficult to fulfill.
Mufti said that this veteran leader would be remembered for long and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed that the soul of the deceased may rest in peace.
The PDP spokesman Sayeed Basharat Bukhari has also condoled the demise of the great leader and paid rich tributes to the departed soul.
