| HM Militant arrested | | |
Srinagar, May 17
Police today claimed to have arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen militant in Shah Nagri Handwara area of north Kashmir.
Official sources said that on a tip off Police launched a search operation in a village of Handwara and arrested a Hizb militant.
Sources identified him as Abdul Gani Kumar son of Ghulam Mohammed Kumar of Shah Nagri Handwara.
During questioning, the arrested person confessed that he is working as a Radio/wireless Operator for HM outfit.
One Kenwood Wireless set and a UBGL was also recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No; 101/07 U/S &/25 I.A.Act has been registered in this regard
