| 17 Bangladeshis arrested on border | | |

Border Security Force jawans today arrested 17 male bangladesi nationalists, when they were trying to cross the border at Malabila post in Pargwal sector in Akhnoor.
According to reports, early morning today alert jawans of 26 batallion BSF saw some movement at Malabila post and cordoned the area.
As the BSF party saw some persons, who were trying to cross the border they challenged and arrested 17 Bangladeshi nationals from the spot and took them to base camp for further interrogation.
The Bangladeshis revealed that a local agent took them in the area as he had promised that they would be taken across the borders from here.
