| HUM militant surrender | | |

A top HUM militant, who was involved in many militancy incidents, today surrendered before army and STF in Gandoh area in Doda.
According to reports, Muzzafar Ahmed alias Mubassir son of Maqsood Ahmed resident of Bharthi, a HUM militant surrendered before RR and STF in the area along with weapon.
Sources said he was active in the area from August 2006 and involved in the militancy related incidents. Meanwhile, one person got serious injuries in accidental blast in Dacchi area in Surankote. According to reports, one Shabbir Ahmed son of Maqsood Ahmed resident of Dacchi suffered injuries in right hand while handling a detonator at his home his middle finger and half index finger were blown off. After the incident, local people took him to Poonch hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be out of danger as last report came.
